Any songs about social change?

In social studies, we are learning about how during the European Enlightenment, philosophes shared ideas in salons, while today we have media to express our ideas. Any songs about wanting a specific change? ie. equal gay rights, racism, censorship, unfair economy, etc. It has to be something from the last 10 years and must be something someone about 15 would have listened to. Low profanities, NO RAP, or hiphop, prefer a rock/alternative song
