Do you think gwen's solo music sounds alot like later no doubt?

i was just listening to the 2001 no doubt album rock steady. i was listening to tracks "hella good" and "making out" and the songs sounded alot like dance music. gwen said she always wanted to do a dance record, but she's already done one! does anybody else agree with me that gwen's new solo stuff (love.angel.music.baby. & the sweet escape) sounds alot like the no doubt album rock steady?? because i do. don't get me wrong, i love her solo dance stuff, but maybe there wans't a need to do it, since she's already made a dance album w/ no doubt! tell me your opinions.
