What is your opinion on affirmative action?

I think it's reached the point that it's totally out of control. It seems like an average student who is a minority can easily get into a good school, but an exceptional student who is white has to work harder to get into the same school. In addition, I think it further alienates us in terms of race and gender, rather than uniting us. Instead of favoring some people over others based on race or gender, we should all be judged based on our achievements and our personalities, because when it comes down to it, we're all human, and thus we are all equal.
