Cell Cycle (Cell Division)-> Mitosis?
Cell cycle is from the start of one cell divided into two cells. They are G0, G1, S, G2 and M. Particularly there are 2 checkpoints in G1 and G2 which need to be emphasized here. The G1 checkpoint control mechanism ensures that everything is ready for DNA synthesis. The G2 checkpoint control mechanism ensures that everything is ready to enter the M (mitosis) phase and divide. Every organelle is involved in cell cycle, except in prokaryotes not all DNA plasmids are regulated for cell division, i.e. they divide regardless of the limitation of cell cycle.
