What running backs will have an outstanding season for this upcoming year?

I think Clinton Portis should have the best season if he is healthy. He is one of the few RB that can do everything: run, catch out of the backfield, block and handle blitzers. Adrian Peterson is also on my list. I was surprised that Thomas Jones did not get recognition for the huge season he had with the Jets. I think that would a career best. I think Felix Jones and Darren Sprowles will have huge seasons regardless of whether they start or not.
