How do I tame my ertile bird?

Ok so I just got this ertile bird. He/she is young but not a baby. It's yellowy white with red Rosie cheeks. He is use to a big cage and now he is in another big cage but now as big as the old one,. He is by himself. How do I get him to get use to me and settle in his cage? I only got him an hour ago. And could u also tell me how I can tell the difference to a boy and girl:)And how do I teach him to talk and how do I teach him to be handled. Step by step
