My girl friend made false allegations against my mom on false imprisonment can my girl get in trouble?

The cops took my girlfriend and son for charges against my mother and no one will tell me where my sons at. there is no charges or restraining order on me. all they told me is that hes in with his mother going through a program called renew. They said that they cant tell me for my son and girl friends safety from my mother. what do I do?
