Question for ATHEISTS: If there is no God, on what basis is there any meaning or hope for fairness, comfort,?

The Bible is hardly a fantastic example of fairness. I don't think there is any God and because we are humans there will never be true and everlasting fairness or justice. We are greedy and can all be crazy at times, so much so that any fairness that occurs is only temporarily there.
