What sort of Computer Monitor is this. I want to buy that ANTI-GLARE screen but dont dont wat 2 look for! HLP!?
That is an lcd (liquid crystal display) monitor. TFT is a special type of LCD. From the size, I doubt it is a TFT (Thin Film Transistor), but I could be wrong. The way to tell for certain is to search for the model number. Also, when it was built is a good indication, TFT's were first developed in 2003, and became much more feasable for use in 2005. Today, it is the standard for all TVs and monitors built around LCD technology. Another indication is the screens refresh rate. TFT displays redraw much faster, leading to less blurred imaging when fast motion is displayed. Drag the mouse across the screen, and if the mouse disappears between the starting and finishing points, it is definitely not a TFT. However, if the mouse does not disappear, that does not guarantee that it is a TFT. But any glare screen designed for LCD should suffice anyway, so knowing if it is TFT or not is not necessary.
