How on earth does Mark Marrone keep all those pets on that table?

I have seen him on Martha Stewart and Faithful Friends, and he always has a zoo of animals on that table. Chinchillas, cats, dogs, ferrets, birds, reptiles, guinea pigs.. How does he do it without the animals attacking eachother??? And there are no barriers, how does he keep them on that table? I mean I can understand cats and dogs, but rodents are usually very jumpy,especially around cats..
