Should the US adopt an expansionist policy?

Should we invade Canada, & Mexico, Central America We would then own coast to coat and from the Arctic circle to the Panama C. Canada and Mexico have oil resouces which would help get us off foreign oil. Should we continue into South America and take Venezuela and their oil?
