Worm hole and time travel thoughts here ^^?

Say in like 1000 years time we master intergalactic travel through worm holes witch in theory can also travel through time do you think we will travel years back in time and tell primitive years or like years from 400 years before we could travel through time the secret of time travel to make it more advanced thus making human advance in just a blink of an eye or do you think we will not be aloud to travel back in time just in case we do something wrong and we all kill ourselves or create a paradox?
