Ok so my mom has always been a little overweight but recently its gotten a little worse. She sits in front of the tv ALL THE TIME when she's not running errands and whatnot. About 2 months ago she started getting this cough and it still hasn't gone away. At first the doctor said it was allergies (she has terrible allergies) but her allergy medicine wasnt helping. Then they said bronchitis but the z-pack didn't work. Her cough is getting on my nerves. But not only that, her laziness is really pissing me off. I would definitely start with a distance that you're comfortable with. So, interchange whatever number you decide on with the number I have for the first week. I would recommend starting with maybe 3 miles/day in the first week and then weekly increase the mileage by 1-3 miles per run after that. To supplement your running and help decrease the chances of injuries, I would strengthen (via endurance vs. strengthening for pure strength) your body's core muscles: calves, quads, hams, back and abdominal (the "six pack" muscles along with the obleks), chest and arms. I would definitely get some free weights or get a membership at a gym (depending on your finances and your knowledge on how to strengthen your muscles). I would definitely stretch a lot and stay flexible as as possible because flexibility leads to better balance (so do the muscles in your core) and also helps to prevent some injuries like pulled muscles and shin splints. Also, I would try to make up a schedule where you can run for X amount of days and try to have a long run. Running is a lifestyle, thus you need to have: a good diet, great hydration, enough sleep, a good sense on how to take care of your body, and more sleep. Help with windows XP not starting?

Sounds like some boot files in windows have been corrupted in one way or another or its a problom with your graphics card/drivers. Bear in mind that Im trying to use very generalized methods to walk you through this as I really dont know what happened without physical access to your computer because this could be a hardware problem but probabally not if your getting past the bios. First try to use your windows xp disk or whatever disk that came with the computer and click on repair if booting into safe mode produces the same result of a blue screen. If you can get into safe mode try uninstalling the video drivers and restarting. it will then use generic drivers to try to display in a very low resolution then try to find the model of your computer go the the manufaturer webpage and download the driver which will probabally be under some sort of support menu. If all else fails you could also use a windows xp disk after booting into your computer bios by pressing most likely what is f12 esc or any other key in the row find boot order change it to cd save settings and exit this will completely reinstall the OS so make sure if you have essentail files that need to be backed up to take care of that before proceeding. Hello. I recently bought a asus p5ql - pro motherboard and a Intel q6600 quad core processor. I've overclocked it at 3.02 ghz.(fsb at 335, pcie freq at 100 and cpu voltage at 1.45). And when I open Asus AI suite or cpuz I can see the cpu's frequency oscillating. I mean for 5-9 seconds it shows 3019 mhz and then it changes to 2019 mhz. Why? Why is it be easier for me to invite my husband from Israel over to America than any other Middle East country?

My husband was born, raised and lived in Israel and I married him in Israel in 2000 and he is settled in America since 2006. But I'm very curious as my friend married a Lebanese-Jordanian man in 2004 and has been trying to get him in to the US since 2005 but she can't. It's really odd and I just feel sorry for her as she's now leaving US to live in Lebanon when she loves her home country so much to leave it. How Do You Heal A Broken Heart?

I dated my best friend for about 3 years. When my life was spiraling out of control he came out of nowhere and helped me. I never saw him that way until we got super close and then one day we went from best friends to dating. But we stayed friends and well we just clicked and got along. He was good for me. But not for long. We had a rocky on and off relationship and it really messed us both up. Made him more colder and angrier and made me more sad and distant. We began to fight more and soon we would spend weeks apart, pissed at one another. But I never stopped loving him. I loved him so much. Too much I thought at one point. And we kept trying to save the relationship by going back out and giving in one last try, saying this would be it and we'd make it. But...we never did. And he made so many promises to me. I'm 17 and still in high school so I have to see him all the time and it tears me up. About the third year he got more distant even while we were dating. He stopped calling completely, only texted me when he was bored, was always busy and never really talked to me much but since we had so much history and cause I loved him so much I brushed it aside and stayed. But it got worse. Really worse really fast. We broke up because he was treating me badly so I dumped him and yet we did things together which though it's my fault only made me love him more oddly enough. But then I found out he was only using me. For about the last year we were together he was using me. It meant nothing to him really. And then it all happened in a sort of domino effect. One right after another he betrayed me with something that felt like a slap to the face. And before he did all that to me he just stopped even talking to me. He ignored me, barely looked at me and would avoid me and I was so confused! I thought we were still friends, still trying to work it out, but apparently he was already ready to move on, forget me. But he never told me until I asked him and he just said he was over me. And that was it. I was shocked but surprisingly okay. I guess I was just too tired to care anymore. But still. We went out seperate ways and I wished him well and told him I'd always miss him. But then the betrayals came and he broke my heart. I couldn't believe it, wrap my head around how he could do that to ME. The person that was always there for him, always loved him, always honest and loyal to him and he betrayed me. I confronted him twice about two things that he did to me and I just lost it! I freaked out on him. And he said he never meant for it to happen and that he would leave me alone. We parted again. And for weeks I was getting better, okay without him, and he ignored me like always only this time it didn't hurt as much. But then I started thinking about him more and started missing him like crazy. I just couldn't erase 3 years of history. Couldn't let it be over. So with advice from my best friend I pulled him aside to ask him if he was okay. He wasn't. He was very sad. So like a stupid girl I umed it was because he missed me. But then soon enough a week after that we started talking again, like magic. And we began to act like we used to, like good friends, teasing and joking and he even seemed to go back to his old self and treat me well. We even started flirting. And I knew in the back of my mind I couldn't be with him after all he'd done with me. But I couldn't stop falling for him. Again. Or at least...liking him. I began to feel things again and then...I began to realize one night that I shouldn't care about him, after all he'd done to me. That it was time to let him go. So I did. I began to ignore him, p him by in the hall. And it sucked. But I felt better day by day, and I thought I was okay, I was finally getting better again. But then just last night my friend called me and told me that he was dating someone else and it killed me! I don't know why or what to do! I know I don't love him but three years is so much time to just forget and erase to me. He was the first person I ever loved, or let in, we did everything together and we close mentally and physically, so this has really left me messed up. I'm humiliated and broken hearted because I hung on to every promise he made me only to find out he found someone else and I never meant that much to him. It cuts me up. And I just want this pain to go away so I can finally move on with me life. But even though I'm strong and I have great friends I feel so alone and betrayed and hurt and he's the only one I want. I don't know why he did this to me. Why he thinks it's okay. Why he just stopped even talking to me, like we never meant anything. yeah..you need to...not a ton..it's okay to be plus a little bit, but that's quite a bit..also, you want to look at what the other teams are doing. if everyone in your league has played as many games as you, then your fine...if your way ahead, then you need to cut back. look at defensive match ups and try to pick the best games to miss. I like to set my lineups and simply not change them unless someone gets injured. for example, gilbert arenas will always be in my 'pg' spot whether he has a game to play that night or not...then I get all his 82 games in the p. How do I cook frozen ground beef safely?

I already started. Put about .4lbs ground beef in microwave twice at 3 minutes each, turned it over for the second time. It seemed mostly thawed. I threw a pat of er, maybe a little over a teaspoon into a pan and turned the stove on to just below medium heat. As soon as er melts, plan on throwing mostly thawed meat in pan, breaking off loose parts, cooking, watching, breaking up and cooking more and more until totally brown. I care less about perfect quality since it's just for myself. Been craving a simple burrito. Mostly concerned about safety and health. After reading your posting, I feel like it is hard to determine whether or not your pregnant. I know right now you are freaking out because you dont know what to believe, pregnancy test, counsleors, parents and all. The only real way to tell is just to make an appointment with the gyno. I dont know how old you are, but Im sure they will be able to ist you without a parent present. You could also go to any free organziations out there who can provide you with another pregnancy test, since its been a good month and half since you had unprotected . Im not sure with the whole birth control, with taking that many would prevent pregnancy even after you had unprotected . Sounds to me since your sooo stressed over the situation that could be the reason why your periods are out of whack. Your right its rare to have a normal "bleeding" when pregnant. However, it happens and it is hereitary. Its not called a period though since your uterus isnt sheeding its lining. You could also get a blood pregnancy test from your local hospital and they should have the results back within hours. That is the only real way to tell if your pregnant besides an ultrasound since its been 6 weeks or so since , the pregnancy should show up on through an ultrasound. Just remeber to stay calm. I have Sirius radio and car kit. If I want to get XM, can I use the same car kit for an XM radio?

I used to have Sirius, now have XM and here is my experience. Some of the equipment MAY work. The antenna for example is pretty interchangeable if the plug size (where it connects with the receiver) are the same. The power cord might also work but I didn't find that to be the case. Most other parts seem pretty specific for the radio they come with but you might have luck if your XM is made by the same manufacturer as your Sirius was. Generally speaking, I think it would be worth it to get the kit made for your XM. It will probably be easier than scrounging for the few parts that don't work for both. Best of luck!

Where To Begin, With Quilting...??

This was the first quilting project I made, for my daughter, who is now 18. I still have her baby quilt, and when I look at it now, compared to the quilts I can produce now, I giggle, there are a LOT of things that I didnt do quite 'right', but it is my favorite one because of the pride it gave me to do it. The point to my story is, it doesnt matter if you do it exactly like the quilt books say, do what you think will work, get some old shirts or rags, make a couple of blocks to get the hang of what you want to do and go to it!! Stick to something simple, squares or rectangles, cut them out, and lay them out on the floor til the pattern looks good, then start sewing. I did my first probably 15 quilts completely by hand. There are tons of websites to show you how to quilt or tie it, as well as doing the binding. Just dont get all hung up on rules and 'how you're supposed to', have fun, the name of the game is to make a functional blanket that stays in one piece, if you accomplish that, YOU DID IT!!!

For some time, a company named John Ellis ( www.johnellis.com ) has had a full page advertisement in Popular Science concerning their machine that produces miraculous water. It is much touted by many Dr.'s, and claims to have a hydrogen bond angle of 114 degrees, compared to regular water's 104 degree hydrogen bond angle... I have no expertise in this area, but am anxious to know if Dr.'s are indeed impressed by this machine. What exactly is a "hydrogen bond angle", and how does it concern me ??? I live in this complex in Atl GA it is terrible and they over charge everyone for the water bill, I found out from the mail carrier that mail was no longer being delivered at the apts b/c it was being stolen and all resident would have to pick it up at the post office, the office never told anyone they did not even put up a sign to tell the residence this. That is an lcd (liquid crystal display) monitor. TFT is a special type of LCD. From the size, I doubt it is a TFT (Thin Film Transistor), but I could be wrong. The way to tell for certain is to search for the model number. Also, when it was built is a good indication, TFT's were first developed in 2003, and became much more feasable for use in 2005. Today, it is the standard for all TVs and monitors built around LCD technology. Another indication is the screens refresh rate. TFT displays redraw much faster, leading to less blurred imaging when fast motion is displayed. Drag the mouse across the screen, and if the mouse disappears between the starting and finishing points, it is definitely not a TFT. However, if the mouse does not disappear, that does not guarantee that it is a TFT. But any glare screen designed for LCD should suffice anyway, so knowing if it is TFT or not is not necessary.

I have a question about metal dust?

Well, I removed one of those hershey shaped ink tags off of a pair of jeans I bought because I didn't want to drive 2 hours away to JCPenneys. But anywho, when I was cutting the very tip of the tag off, so I can get to the spring, there was a metal thing at the tip that I inevidently had to keep scraping at till I had the plastic cut enough to pull out that metal part. I could see metal sparkles on my fingers and it had to have gotton on my jeans as well. I also knicked my finger during this which bled a little. The reason I'm asking this is because I was told you're not suppose to breathe in metal dust because it can cause cancer or other diseases and that if its a certain type of metal it can be incredibly dangerous. It wasn't a lot of particles but I'm concerned. What if it got on my mouth or in my eyes?? Haha, I'm incredibly paranoid, does anybody know about this kind of stuff?

Why watch violent films?

When I watch a violent film (action/horror, doesn't matter), I'm fine until the part where someone is doing bodily harm to another person. At that point, I feel as if I am at the scene of a crime, and I feel only the need to stop it from happening. I know it's not real, but this feeling I get seems to be innate, and I simply cannot understand why anyone would want to watch something that displays crime in such a realistic way. It seems to me that if you do enjoy watching it, then you would have no problem watching it happen for real, or perhaps performing the act yourself. Perhaps, those who indulge in violent films/tv shows do not have a firm grasp on reality. Why does this protectionist instinct not show up in everyone who watches a violent film? Why is it so hard for someone like me to think of what I am watching as just a film? And why is it that most of the people I know who watch violent films on a regular basis have a very rude personality, and swear all the time? Personally, I think that violent films cause people to devalue life. If I have to watch a violent film all the way through, I am usually left feeling depressed, as if I have suffered the same kind of loss as the fictional characters have. It's the REALISM of it. 5 years, 3 kids, drug habit and lies......should i kick him out?

We have been together for 5 years, have 3 children, youngest is 6 months old. He had an intravenous drug habit when we met, but he managed to hide it from me for nearly a year before i caught him out (stupid me). Hair sticks to polar fleece - any method to removing it?

I love to wear the polar fleece tops, sweaters, vests, jackets etc...but I am forever pulling lots of long strands of my hair off, as it sticks very badly to the polar fleece. Brake lamp on w/ spongy pedal poor stopping?

2002 chev 2500 express 5.7l R. I have been having a problem with my mechanical brakes for about a month now. at times they fade drastically with very poor stopping performance. When this happens the "brake" lamp illuminates. I pump them and eventually I get pedal and brakes back. I figured it was possibly air in the system so I bled it per specs and have the same result (r/r, l/r, r/f, l/f). However when I got to the l/f caliper to bleed it, my nephew was pushing down on the pedal and when the bleeder was opened... nothing! Then, slowly, a trickle after he applied very hard effort to brake pedal. All others bled properly. Have any ideas? im thinking a proportioning valve but Im not too familiar with ABS. If you have an idea I would love to hear it!! Thanks so much for any help all!

One day late for AF and still a BFN...?

Today is 14dpo and I was supposed to get AF yesterday. I did cramp all day and kept going to the bathroom thinking it was going to start and it never did. Then I cramped first thing this morning, but now is gone, but still nothing. BFN yesterday morning and this morning. I had some symptoms last week such as cramping on 7and 8 dpo. Spotting late on 8dpo and the morning of 9dpo but just a tiny little bit. So now I am just waiting for AF or a BFP. Has anyone else had any similar symptoms to this. I've had other symptoms too, but don't feel I can necessarily attribute them to pregnancy symptoms because they could be or couldn't be. I'm not trying to psych myself out for a BFP, I'm prepared for either. I just wish one or the other would go ahead and happen.

i've got a very dull complexion, few pimples that appear rarely, but leaves marks/black spots due to tampering. i visited a doc who suggested Clear gel (Clindamycin phosphate gel equivalent to clindamycin 1.0 % ) in the mornings & ApGel (Adaferin Adapelene gel 1.0 %) at nites. i used clear gel but it kinda makes my skin very oily... but adaferin is excellent... but i kinda feel they are forming pits & the marks have faded to some extent... very slow change. i also visited another dermatologist , who suggested Faceclin(Clindamycin & Nicotinamide Gel) for mornings & Glyaha Lotion (alpha Hydroxy Acid) at nites. Now the morning dose prescribed by both are actually the same coz it's only clindamycin 0.1 %. but for the nites im a little confused as to which one to stick on to .... adaferin or glyaha ???? also inbetween for 3 days or so i used Melalaite 15 (contains hydroquinone 2 %) & Adaferin only which gave me a radiant complexion. should i just stick on to adaferin & melalite or clindamycin & adaferin or alindamycin & glyaha lotion or clindalycin, melalite & adaferin or clindalycin, melalite & glyaha ???? im thoroughly confused .... i want to lighten my skin, remove the black spots & marks & get a glowing complexion ... kindly help

When you are first pregnant, you can't actually feel something inside you at all though...so that may just be your mind playing tricks on you. Take a pregnancy test if you are really concerned. Having an early period doesn't sound like you are pregnant....you miss your period altogehter when you are pregnant.

Okay so, theirs this guy Leon. I've known him since i was 11 he was 15 at the time. I'm 17 now and he's 21. We live in different states, so i never met him in person.
